Rd-Pick-Team
1-31 San Francisco Giants
Selection: Chris Shaw, 1B, Boston College (New Bedford Bay Sox '13)

Shaw raked for the Bay Sox in 2013, his second step in a three-year of New England summer leagues that included stints with the FCBL's Nashua Silver Knights and the Cape's Chatham Anglers. An All-Star, Shaw hit .335 with five home runs and 39 RBIs, ranking in the top seven in each of the Triple Crown categories.

CB-A (40) Milwaukee Brewers
Selection: Nathan Kirby, LHP, Virginia (Keene Swamp Bats '13)

The league's top prospect after the 2013 season, Kirby was Virginia's No. 1 starter in 2014 and the top lefty in the 2015 class entering the regular season. A lat strain sidelined the hard throwing lefty, and his stock dropped from a top-ten pick to just outside the first round. He was 3-0 with a 1.67 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 43 innings for the Swamp Bats.

2-50 Miami Marlins
Selection: Brett Lilek, LHP, Arizona State (Newport Gulls '13)

He followed that up with a short stint in the Cape, returning to ASU to preserve his arm.

Rivera drew arguably the most attention of any NECBL player in recent memory last year, as crowds showed up to watch the son of one of the best closers in MLB history to pitch. He had a 3.99 ERA in 10 appearances (six starts), and really improved with 113 strikeouts in 85 innings this spring. Rivera had a 2.65 ERA for the Gaels, and has drawn national attention after his selection from ESPN and Yahoo Sports among others.

5-140 Minnesota Twins
Selection: Alex Robinson, LHP, Maryland (Keene Swamp Bats '14)

Robinson was Perfect Game's top prospect out of the NECBL last year, as the Maryland southpaw struck out 26 in 21.1 innings of work. He closed for the Terrapins this year, utilizing the two-pitch reliever approach with a 94-96 mph fastball and a good slider. He dropped to the fifth round due to questions in the effectiveness of his slider.

Selection: Tyler Ferguson, RHP, Vanderbilt (Newport Gulls '13)

Another member of the 2013 Gulls pitching staff to be selected, Ferguson went 3-0 with a 3.03 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 29.2 innings of work. He was strong in the playoffs, and had another good year with the defending champion Commodores.
